How should we dress for our photo session?
* In a nutshell, the best advice is to choose clothes you feel comfortable in and that are as simple and neutral as possible.
* Try to avoid illustrations, text, or logo.
* Pastels & light tones do beautifully in Hawaii. Think soft green, blue, pink, yellow, white, beige, etc. Try to choose a cohesive color palette for your family. The goal here is to be cohesive not identical.

What locations do you shoot at?
Permits are required to shoot at all Hawaii beaches. The price of which is already included in my pricing.
Please note that Waikiki, Ala Moana, Hilton Lagoon, and Ko Olina areas require a travel/parking fee.
* Lanikai Beach and Waimanalo Beach (sunrises are gorgeous!)
* Kualoa Regional Park
* Kahana Bay Beach Park
* North Shore beaches including Laniakea, Malaekahana State Recreation Area, Turtle Bay, and Kawela Bay
* Sandy Beach Park (sunrise is least crowded)
* Makapuu
*If you have a request do let me know. Please be aware that Waikiki, Ala Moana, Ko'Olina areas get very crowded especially around sunset. I don't shoot there during this time for that reason.
Can I have the RAW images?
I will send you JPEG files of edited images. I DO NOT send RAW files. This is where my style + art comes alive in photos and to me the images are not finished without it. I will deliver you the high resolution edited images.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Once you receive your invoice from me split in two parts: retainer (to hold our date/s) and final balance, you may pay by credit card using SWIPE OR VENMO.
When will we receive our pictures?
* No later than 30 days, hopefully MUCH sooner.
What’s the best time to have a photo session?
* I prefer to shoot during Golden Hour as this is when the light allows for soft and creamy photos.
* Golden Hour is the hour or two after sunrise and a few hours before sunset.
How many pictures will we receive?
*That will depend on your specific package. You are always able to purchase additional downloads or you may buy an entire gallery of extra images at a discounted rate.
What if we have to cancel our session? Is there any way to receive a full refund?
* I know, life happens and some things are out of our control.
* If you have to cancel your session for any reason sadly you will lose the initial retainer (50%). However, the remaining balance will not need to be paid OR if you had already paid it, that remaining second payment of 50% will be returned to you.
* I will also do my best to reschedule you for another date/time (IF I am able to and in that case you would not need to pay again). I sincerely want to work with you so I will do everything I can to accommodate within reason.
I really want photos from multiple locations. Is this possible?
YES! Let me know and I will send you a customized package that includes another location (or two) and additional time and images from that location. I offer add-ons at a discount because you would then be considered a returning customer and I want to give you the best experience I can.
The Process

Contract and payment
After we discuss your dream shoot and your availability, you'll receive a contract to sign and pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to book your photo session. Yay! One step closer to photos you'll CHERISH forever!
03.
Planning and session
Next I'll send you some Style ideas for your shoot and when the day comes, meet you at our predetermined location. I promise to make your photoshoot fun, carefree, and light. There is no "wrong pose" or way to do things other than to have fun!
04.
Gallery and prints
My turnaround time for images is no later than 30 days. However, I hope to have them to you sooner than that! Depending on your package, you will have access to download a certain number of digital images for your personal use. In addition, you are welcome to purchase ALL digital downloads from the gallery at a discounted rate if I have more images for you to choose from. Finally, you are welcome to place an order for prints from my shop.
